Dear Tribal Members,

It has been some time since you have received a newsletter from us.
This is due to spending all of our time to prepare our petition for
finalization for federal recognition. Due to so many applicants for
enrollment and not enough people to do it, we have been slow in
getting some of these done. However, I do believe we are near
the end. The biggest hurdle to over come is the enrollment
process that will satisfy the Bureau of Indian Affairs. It is vital
that we do all we can to assure it is done right. We are nearing
the end of having all this done, for now at least.

We have already begun the petition process by submitting documents to
the BIA. Now they are giving us the opportunity to do some improvements
before turning it over to BAR (Branch of Acknowledge and Research).

It is my hope and desire that in the very near future a newsletter will be
sent out to each of you. But, for now be sure and visit our websites to
learn what is going on.

We always welcome donations, which we are always in need of. For $15
you will receive a bumper sticker while they last. For $25 you will receive
a tribal seal while they last. For $100 or more you will receive the book
of our history,"We Are Not Yet Conquered", a bumper sticker and a seal,
while they last. Please send all donations to NCN, 3305 Clark Ln, PMB 242,
Columbia, MO 65202.

Sincerely, Chief Beverly Baker
